In two weeks I will be in Canada. With family, friends and people I pretend to care about. I cannot explain how much I value being home. Canada, New Brunswick, Moncton and my old house. I love my life but if I could live through college again, I would.

Sigh. I don't know when I'll get up to Ohio. You guys are SO on my radar...it's just that I haven't arranged for a way to visit. :(
What era of my life do I cherish the most? Childhood. Age 5-13 specifically. I cherish some of the friends I made in college, but I don't cherish all my time IN college, and I would NEVER do it over again ;)

p.s. My ideal vacation spot would be someplace where I would not perspire in the heat, and that my hair would not frizz due to humidity. In fact, I think a mountaintop ski town would be perfect place to vacation. Summer is SO overrated. I hate summer.
I am very much looking forward to seeing you at Beulah. There is a good chance that I will have my cottage to myself for part of the week. If so i welcome you to be waiting for me in your boxers eating a sub when i come in at curfew.
College was cool in alot of ways. I liked high school alot as well. Pretty much any phase other than Christian school or pumping gas would be good for me. Cheesy as it sounds I think I'm about to enter once of those cherishable phases this summer. Or a living Hell. One or the other.
Somewhere warm but with AC. I like central america. The chicken is awesome. I'd also like to go to europe and see old things. I'd probably bring the wife. She's good company. I guess it might depend on what I was doing - Oh wait!!!!!!! A spa - I would definitly want to go to a spa. Massages all day long!
I agree. College was like heaven. That's the way I want heaven to be. Living in a Christian dorm is like living on streets of gold in your mansion, isn't it? You've got your friends and God 24/7. Sounds great. What a dream. What a breeze. Hey, come to think about it, that would be a great place to be vacationing in five years! Do you get me? Come, Lord, Come!
It will be a good trip, won't it? Much needed time away...especially for you to decompress after nearly 7 years in a crappy job.
Perfect vacation spot? Someplace sunny, high 70's, low humidity, and near the ocean (not to swim...just to walk and enjoy the salt air). With you, Emma, and some dear friends.
Life in 5 years? Hard to imagine we'll have a kid in kindergarten!
A great time in life -- definitely college. High school was the pits, and living in Indy wasn't so hot either. Aside from now, college would absolutely be it.
